What is Threonine?
Threonine is a kind of amino acid. Amino acids are known as building blocks in protein synthesis. It was discovered in 1936 by William Cumming Rose. Threonine is not synthesized in the human body and thus must be obtained from the diet. It is obtained from food sources such as meat, fish, cheese, and lentils.
