What is Sodium borate?
Sodium borate or borax powder is a chemical compound. It is a colorless, crystalline compound with solubility in water. It was first discovered in the 8th century AD, in dry lake beds in Tibet. It has a number of commercial uses, such as in the manufacturing of fiberglass, in detergents, as a flux, and in cosmetic products.
