What is Silver chloride?

Silver chloride is a white crystalline solid with low solubility in water. It has a wide variety of uses such as making photographic paper, tinted glass, and photochromic lenses, in addition to its use in cosmetic products.

Preservative: Silver is used in a wide variety of cosmetic products as a preservative. It inhibits the growth of molds, fungi, or bacteria in the product, increasing its shelf life.
