What is Silt?

Silt is a granular material, somewhat like sand or clay. It mainly consists of quartz and occurs naturally in sediments of water bodies like rivers and seas. Silt is a non-sticky material with a powdery feel.

Use & Benefits:

Astringent: Reduces and constricts pores of the skin, reduces excess oil secretion and redness from the skin, and helps to keep the skin free of dust and dirt, thereby preventing infections.

Brightens and evens skin tone: Makes the skin appear brighter and more even-toned.

Humectant: Draws water from the water vapor present in the air and moisturizes the skin.

Suitable for all skin types: Can be used on all skin types, especially normal and mildly dry skin types.

Enhances skin's water retention: Helps in retaining moisture in the skin and enhances the water retention capacity of the skin.

Helps shed dead skin cells and prevent acne: Aids in shedding dead cells from the skin and protects it from infections like acne.

Softens, smoothes, and hydrates skin: Makes the skin appear more soft, smooth, and hydrated.
