Use & Benefits:

Antioxidant Properties: Sambucus nigra extract is a rich source of antioxidants, particularly flavonoids, that protect the skin from free radical damage. These antioxidants help reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and promote a youthful and healthy-looking complexion.

Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Sambucus nigra extract has anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe and calm irritated skin. This makes it an ideal ingredient for those with sensitive skin, as it can help reduce redness and inflammation.

Moisturizing Properties: Sambucus nigra extract is rich in fatty acids that help moisturize and nourish the skin. It helps restore the skin's natural barrier, preventing moisture loss and keeping the skin hydrated and soft.

Brightening Properties: Sambucus nigra extract contains vitamin C, which is known for its brightening and complexion-enhancing properties. It helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone, leaving the skin looking brighter and more radiant.

Anti-Microbial Properties: Sambucus nigra extract has antimicrobial properties that help fight against bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that can cause skin infections. This makes it an ideal ingredient for acne-prone skin, as it can help prevent breakouts and promote clearer skin.

UV Protection: Sambucus nigra extract has been shown to have some UV protection properties, helping to protect the skin from the damaging effects of the sun's rays. However, it should not be used as a substitute for sunscreen.
In addition to its skincare benefits, Sambucus nigra extract has also been used for centuries in traditional medicine to treat a variety of ailments, including colds, flu, and respiratory infections.
