What is Phosphatidylethanolamine?
Phosphatidylethanolamine is a hygroscopic phospholipid also known as cephalin. It is an important constituent of cell membranes and lipoproteins. It is the second most abundant phospholipid present in the cells. It has ethanolamine as the head group attached to other phospholipids in the side chain.
