What is Mucor miehei extract?

Mucor miehei is a species of fungus, specifically Japanese mashroom. It is well known for its commercial use, i.e. for production of rennet required for production of curd and cheeses.

The Mucor Meihei extract is mainly used for its peeling effect in the skin. It’s  extract can penetrate through the skin. When used on skin, it helps in natural shedding away of dead cells.
