Use & Benefits

When it is applied on the skin surface, the tannins present in the extract may possibly act as an astringent. It shrinks the enlarged pores, which can make skin look tighter and younger. Since as we age our pores tend to open more and more.  It helps get rid of dead skin cells by making a complex with protein resent in them, and this complex is then easy to get rid of. It can also moisturize the skin and helps dry skin get its moisture back. It also draws moisture from the surroundings and makes it available for the skin. Well-hydrated skin is the first step for healthy and problems free skin. It also has soothing and antiseptic properties. This combination can work best for acne-affected skin as it first calms the skin and then kills the bacteria. It is used in toners, creams, ointments and lotions.
