GLYCINE SOJA OIL

Soya bean oil, extract, and sterols all three are equally beneficial as antioxidants. Environmental exposure of free radicals often leads to damage of the skin. It changes the structure of skin protein, which leads to skin problems like wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin. When these soy products are used in any skincare formulation, the antioxidant effect leads to neutralization of free radicals that are present in environment.  Soya bean extract when applied on skin, loosens dead skin cells, dust and otherwise remains attached to skin. So, when it is used in a product it exfoliates the dead skin cells revealing fresher, brighter newer skin. This way it makes skin look like new, even-toned and supple. It has anti-inflammatory effect on the skin so, it is beneficial for red, inflamed and sensitive skin.  It is believed to have stimulating effect on collagen synthesis. The extract is also used for the purpose of sun protection as it also provides protection against harmful UV rays.  Glycine soja sterols are plant-based alcohols found in soya, as mentioned earlier called phytosterols, which has beneficial effect on, particularly dry skin. As they form a layer on the skin in such a manner that does not let moisture evaporate and thus preserves inherent moisture. Thus, when applied on dry skin it moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and supple. The preparations that contain soya oil, seed extract and/or sterols are mostly creams and lotions, body care products, skincare products, hair care products, toners, and makeup products.
