What is Glycereth-26?
Glycerath-26 is a product of glycerin and polyethylene glycol. It comes as clear to slightly hazy odorless liquid.
Use & Benefits:
It belongs to a group of thickener and emulsifier where glycerin is reacted to get other formulation related benefits retaining all good qualities of glycerin. It is used as an emulsifier to get a uniform product and to mix oil and water phases effectively. It has three alcohol groups into the structure, and which are efficient in attracting water molecules. So, when applied it draws moisture for skin and keeps skin plump and moist. Glycerin is quite thick and keeping that into mind the glycerath-26 is also used as a thickening agent. It is available in skincare, haircare, and toiletries.
