INCI: Eugenol

What is Eugenol?

Eugenol is mostly derived from clove oil, as it contains 82-87% of Eugenol. Moreover, they are found naturally in bay leaves, basil, pimento, laurel leaves, allspice, and calamus. It has a spicy pungent taste. Eugenol is colorless to light yellow viscous liquid with the spicy and pungent smell.
