The main difficulty for combination skin is managing to take care of two different skin types at the same time and maintaining equal hydration and balance between all the different areas of the face and needs of the skin.
Due to the greasy areas you need to hydrate the skin with hygroscopic or moisturizing ingredients; those that retain moisture in our skin without contributing to the oiliness.
Lesielle bases for combination skin are formulated to level out excess oils and lack of oils. Including them in our treatments means that we have already made sure that the level of hydration is correct for all areas on your face.
Once we have chosen our base, we then only have to add the active ingredients that we need to achieve our desired goal. Let us show you an example of our treatment:
Anti-aging: Vitamin B3 or Niacinamide is highly recommended to redefine dilated pores whilst having properties of regulating oil levels.
Antioxidant: Vitamin C prevents aging and provides illuminating effect or "Brightening Effect" helping to reduce discolouration..
Anti imperfections: Salicylic Acid is the recommended exfoliant for combination skin. It eliminates dead cells, smoothes the skin and combats acnes, if we suffer from it.
You can also add an extra hydration with an active ingredient, such as Hyaluronic Acid, to your treatment for combination skin. With this active you can enhance the moisturizing effects in your base if the skin on your cheeks is very dry.
If you have sensitive skin, learn how to take care of it in our the posts sensitive skin and dry sensitive skin.
