What is Asparagine?
Asparagine is a dispensable amino acid. It is synthesized in our body from amino acid Aspartic acid and ammonia, in the presence of asparagine synthetase. It is important in the synthesis of glycoprotein and other proteins. It also helps in excretion of ammonia from the body.
Use & Benefits:
Asparagine along with other essential and non-essential amino acid, is required for collagen formation. Although it can be made by the body itself, upon aging the biosynthesis declines.
