What is Alaria esculanta?
Alaria esculanta, also known as winged kelp, is a very nutritious algae, found in North Atlantic Ocean. Interesting fact about these algae is, its name itself means edible algae.

It contains vitamin A, some of vitamin B complex vitamins, vitamin C, Vitamin E, Amino acids, polysaccharides and minerals. Alaria extract increases skin appearance of dull, tired skin by reducing break down of the collagen and elastin, well-known skin proteins. It does so by reducing collagenase and elastase enzyme production that is responsible for breaking down skin protein.
It has antioxidant property; it reduces environmental stress related effect on the skin. It conditions skin, maintains moisture balance. It has omega fatty acids in it that revitalises skin.
