What is the recommended concentration of Retinol?
Retinol is effective in minimum concentrations of 0.01%.
The concentrations used in Lesielle are 0.3% and 2%.
How to use Retinol?
· Day and night / SPF: During the day, use in combination with a base that includes sun protection or apply a photoprotector of your choice depending on the needs of your skin.
* When not in use, store inside the device, in its box or in a dark place.
Is Retinol recommended for sensitive skin?
Vitamin A is one of the most powerful actives available, but it can irritate some skin.
If you want to include it in your skincare routine, start by using the 0.3% concentration. If you notice that your skin reddens with use, space out it to help your skin get used to it. Little by little, you will be able to reduce the time between uses (once a week, once a day...).
If your skin continues to be irritated (no matter how often you use it), we advise you to switch to a softer Antiaging active such as Vitamin B3 or Peptides.
What does Retinol synergize with?
Retinol works well in synergy with Vitamin E, as they mutually enhance each other's Antioxidant power.
· "Retinol cannot be mixed with AHA and BHA exfoliating agents".
False. Many studies defend the use of these two ingredients together because of their great efficacy.
· "You can't use Retinol during the day".
False. You can use it during the day, but always with sun protection if you are going to be exposed to the sun, since Retinol produces a sensitizing effect under it.
· "You can't mix Retinol and Vitamin C".
False. Yes, together they make a perfect team: Vitamin C renews the natural colour and removes spots, and Retinol regenerates and restores.
Where is Retinol found?
Although at Lesielle we use a naturally sourced Retinol, there are several sources where it can be found:
Vegetable origin (such as provitamin A): sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach, apricots or mangoes.
Animal origin: liver, liver oil, milk, butter and eggs.

· Retynil Palmitate
Known as: Retinol or Vitamin A
Retinol or Vitamin A is the most effective ingredient in today's anti-aging treatments. Applied topically, this active ingredient treats expression lines and wrinkles, as well as improving skin texture and giving the face more brightness.
Used in cosmetics for over forty years, it is still unrivalled in anti-ageing cosmetics and is the benchmark for anti-ageing treatments. A sure choice.
Nunca antes había notado tanto los efectos del Retinol, debe ser porque se mezcla en el momento con mi base y no esta en una formúla generica, lo que ellos llaman formulación aislada. Encantadisima con mi Retinol :)
