What is Acetone?
Acetone is a quite recent innovation in skin care routine. In tiny amounts it has a cleansing effect, drying effect on the skin. Sometimes it is used in skin peel off masks in a minor amount.

The small amount of acetone is present in all nature, even in our bodies. But in our body, acetone breaks down very quickly. Acetone applied to the skin provides a quick drying effect that is supposed to lighten brown spots, resolve acne faster and exfoliate the skin. However, acetone in large quantities is harmful to the skin.
