What is Tremella fuciform sporocarp extract?
Tremella fuciform sporocarp extract is obtained from a fungus called Tremella fuciform. It is commonly called snow fungus. It is a kind of fungus with white-colored fronds resembling gelatinous basidiocarps. This fungus grows in tropical and subtropical regions of China, Asia, North America, Australia, and New Zealand. This fungus was first identified in 1856 by an English mycologist, Joseph Berkeley. It is mainly used in traditional Chinese cuisine and is also known to possess medicinal value.
