Tetrasodium EDTA is the sodium salt of EDTA. EDTA is also called ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. EDTA is mainly used as a preservative. Tetrasodium EDTA is an off-white powder with no odor and is easily soluble in cold water. It is used as a useful ingredient in cosmetic and personal care products.
