What is Sodium cocoyl glutamate?
Sodium cocoyl glutamate is formed by reacting glutamic acid obtained from molasses, glucose, or wheat with caprylic acid obtained from coconut oil. It is a water-soluble waxy solid used as a mild surfactant in cosmetic and personal care products.
