What is Salix alba bark extract?
Salix alba extract is obtained from the plant Salix alba, commonly known as white willow due to its leaves having a white tone present on the underside. It is a medium to large-sized deciduous tree native to Europe, Western, and Central Asia. The tree is mainly used for its wood, such as in making baskets, and so on. The extract obtained from the bark consists of compounds like salicin and salicylic acid, which make it important medicinally.

Astringent: When applied to the skin, it shrinks the wide-open-looking pores, which can be an unavoidable skin problem at a young age. It improves blood circulation, helps remove dead skin cells, and eliminates dead bacteria from the top layer of the skin.
