SACCHAROMYCES ZINC FERMENT
INCI: Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment
What is Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment?
Saccharomyces zinc ferment is obtained from the fermentation of the yeast named Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the presence of zinc ions.
Use & Benefits:
Provides Antioxidant Protection:
The zinc ions present in Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment help to protect the skin from oxidative stress. Oxidative stress occurs when the skin is exposed to environmental factors such as pollution, UV radiation, and other free radicals, which can cause damage to the skin cells. Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment helps to neutralize these free radicals, preventing damage to the skin cells and reducing the signs of aging.
Enhances Skin Moisture:
Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment helps to improve the skin's moisture levels by strengthening the skin barrier. The skin barrier is responsible for keeping moisture in the skin, and a weakened barrier can lead to dry, dull, and flaky skin. Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment helps to improve the skin barrier, allowing it to retain moisture, resulting in a plumper, healthier-looking complexion.
Soothes and Calms Irritated Skin:
Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment has anti-inflammatory properties, making it an ideal ingredient for soothing and calming irritated skin. It helps to reduce redness, inflammation, and discomfort associated with skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema, and acne.
Helps to Even Out Skin Tone:
Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment helps to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. It does this by inhibiting the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for dark spots and uneven skin tone. Regular use of products containing Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment can help to even out the skin tone, resulting in a brighter, more radiant complexion.
Stimulates Collagen Production:
Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment has been shown to stimulate collagen production in the skin. Collagen is a protein that gives the skin its structure, firmness, and elasticity. As we age, the production of collagen slows down, leading to sagging skin and wrinkles. By stimulating collagen production, Saccharomyces Zinc Ferment helps to improve the overall appearance of the skin, reducing the signs of aging.
