What is Rubus occidentalis seed oil?
Rubus occidentalis, commonly called black raspberry or black caps, is a deciduous shrub that produces fruits known as black raspberries. The plant is native to Western America, Asia, and Europe and is related to the red raspberry plant. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the plant by cold pressing, and the fruits are purple-black and rich in compounds like anthocyanins. The plant is used in culinary, textile dyes, and cosmetic products.

Emollient: Rubus occidentalis seed oil functions as an emollient in a variety of cosmetic products. It fills the gaps between dead cells in the skin, making it appear soft and smoother.
