What is Orbignya martiana seed oil?
Orbignya martiana seed oil is extracted from seeds of the palm tree. It is a tall feather palm native to northern Brazil. It has a hard-shelled nut yielding valuable oil. It is also called babassu palm. It is used as a substitute for coconut oil in making soaps and other cosmetic products. The oil is extracted by distillation of the seeds.
