Magnesium Laureth Sulphate is a magnesium salt of Laureth sulfate. It belongs to the group called ethoxylated alcohol salts. it is produced chemically.it appears as a light-yellow colored, odorless liquid.
Use & Benefits:
Magnesium laureth sulfate acts as a surfactant, which has water and oil-loving parts in a single molecule. When oil-loving part of a molecule binds with dirt and fatty secretions of the skin, the water-loving part effectively drags the whole complex into the water, thus it can be rinsed away easily. This way it also acts as a cleaning agent. It is mainly used in making shampoos, shower gels and liquid soaps.
