Hedione is a cyclopentaneacetic acid, 3-oxo-2-pentyl-, methyl ester. It is mainly used as a fragrance ingredient. It comes as a colorless liquid. It has an aroma of jasmine mixed with citrus freshness, which makes it a unique choice.
