· Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice

Known as: Aloe Barbadensis Extract

Aloe extract is well known for its soothing and healing effect on the skin, penetrating through all three layers of the skin and acting quickly on the skin problem. It also neutralizes free radicals, helping to overcome environmental stress.

In addition, it improves skin texture, heals aging, red, and inflamed skin, and retains the skin's natural moisture.

· Bisabolol

Known as: Alpha Bisabolol.

It is the main constituent of camomile essential oil. It has a soothing effect on the skin and can improve the penetration of other active ingredients.

Contains Panthenol (Vitamin B5) - a natural moisturizer that moisturizes and nourishes the skin. In addition, Bisabolol can even out skin tone.

· Tocopherol + Tocopheril Acetate

Known as: Vitamin E + Stabilized Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a recognized antioxidant that helps prevent the signs of aging and provides skin care and protection.

At Lesielle we use 2 different forms of Vitamin E, one of which is stabilized (Tocopheryl Acetate). This form, as its name suggests, is more resistant to oxidation so it conditions, cares and protects the skin better for longer, while Tocopherol has greater antioxidant power.

· Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil

Known as: Calendula Oil

Calendula oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that can help heal wounds and relieve eczema.

In cosmetics it can be found in many anti-acne creams, as it can help in the treatment of acne by getting rid of the bacteria that produce acne. For people with eczema, it can relieve irritation and help moisturize and soften the area.

· Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil

Known as: Sweet Almond Oil

It is used in cosmetics as an emollient on the skin, lips and hair, to give a soft and smooth feeling

It contains 55-86% Oleic Acid and 7-35% Linoleic Acid, in addition to Vitamins E and B, which help moisturize the skin. They are essential fatty acids that can be found in the epidermis, which helps maintain the structure and integrity of the skin.

· Butyrospermum Parkii Butter

Known as: Shea Butter

Shea Butter is used for many skin conditions, such as dry skin, acne, rashes, itching, stretch marks and chapped skin. It also cures and protects the skin from sunburn due to its content of UV-absorbing triterpenes, which are made of Phytosterols, Vitamin E and Cinnamic Acid.

It has a high amount of unsaponifiable fats or plant sterols which, when applied to the skin, do not allow the moisture to evaporate.

Vitamins act as antioxidants, improving the damage caused by oxidative stress.

· Acacia Decurrens Flower Wax

Known as: Mimosa Flower Wax.

It has good dermoprotective properties. In addition, it has a pleasant and mild aroma, well known to perfumers.

Mimosa Flower Wax often appears in the formula along with Sunflower and Jojoba waxes, as is the case with this base. All three together form an agent that acts both as an emollient, bringing softness to the composition, and as an active ingredient with repairing, protective and moisturising properties for the skin.

· Helianthus Annuss Seed Wax

Known as: Sunflower Seed Oil

It contains a large amount of Vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant neutralizing free radicals, gradually improving the premature aging of the skin.

It acts as an emollient moisturizing dry skin by forming a layer that not only protects the skin, but also keeps it hydrated, making it smoother and stronger.

In addition, its high content of Linoleic Acid helps soothe irritated skin.

· Jojoba Esters

Known as: Jojoba Oil

It is used as an emollient to moisturize and prevent the skin from drying out, since it creates an occlusive layer on the skin.

It also acts as a gentle physical exfoliant, because unlike nut exfoliants with a serrated surface (which can cause micro tears in the skin), the small jojoba beads provide a gentle exfoliation and melt away. They can also be used as an alternative to plastic beads, as they are more environmentally friendly.
