What is Ammonium glycolate?
Ammonium glycolate is an amine salt of glycolic acid, naturally occurring organic acid. It is either synthesized or derived from sugarcane. It is one of the AHAs- alpha hydroxyl acids. It exhibits the properties of glycolic acid, but it is a lot less irritant than glycolic acid.
