Collagen amino acids are amino acids derived from hydrolyzed collagen. Collagen is a helical structure of mainly three amino acids, namely hydroxyproline, proline, and glycine. It comes as a fine yellow powder. It has tremendous water binding and water retention ability. It has been in products for more than 30 years for the very same purpose of providing care to skin.
