Aminomethylpropandiol ist ein Aminoglykol, eine kristalline Substanz, die in Wasser und Alkohol löslich ist. Es befindet sich auch im flüssigen Zustand. Seine Struktur hat sowohl eine Amino- als auch eine Alkoholgruppe in seiner Struktur, die ihn stabil und geeignet für Wasser- und Ölphasen macht.
